The Horizon line of work footwear supplies height, a little glam and a lot of underfoot protection. This 8-inch lace-up work boot with gold metallic hardware, has a water-resisting nubuck leather upper in a desert tan color. Cemented to the upper is a rubber outsole that is electrical-hazard and puncture-resisting to the ASTM F2413 standard. A multipurpose tread pattern is certified to ASTM F3445-21 standards for slip on dry an wet surfaces; a defined heel helps with climbing. Housed within the round toe is an alloy toe cap that is certified to ASTM F2413 standards for impact and compression. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
