For safety, an XRD internal metatarsal guard is flexible for daily wear, yet hardens upon impact, protecting the bones within the top of your feet. A composite safety cap protects toes and a puncture-resisting midsole provides protection underfoot from sharp objects. These safety features are metal-free and meet or exceed ASTM 2413 standards for protective work footwear. Other features include electrical hazard resistance and an oil- and slip-resisting outsole with defined heel.
This is a comfortable work boot courtesy of a removable WALKING ON AIR Polyurethane footbed that is designed to reduce fatigue, a shock-absorbing polyurethane midsole, and a waterproof membrane to keep feet dry.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
