With the women's Riveter Glacier Grip, you get a safety boot built for cold and ice. This 8-inch lace-up work boot meets ASTM and CSA Grade 1 standards for impact and compression with a composite safety toe. It also is electrical hazard resisting. A SWEN-FLEX insole board underfoot makes these puncture-resisting, providing another level of protection against sharps you might step upon. And an outsole with Glacier Grip technology supplies extra grip on snowy and icy surfaces.
An upper constructed with waterproof brown leather is durable and breathable. The waterproof membrane keeps feet dry and 400G of 3M Thinsulate Insulation keep feet warm. Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.

CSA Approved - Sole Puncture Protection with Grade 1 Protective Toe
Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes.
