Twisted X Work Driving Moc Women's Internal Metatarsal Composite Toe Chukka Work Shoe
Twisted X creates quality, handcrafted footwear with traditional profiles. A casual driving moc style with metatarsal protection makes this women's safety chukka a stand out.
Reaching 4 inches in height, this ankle-high moc toe boot with open-laced chukka profile feels and looks great. A quality full grain leather upper in a distressed saddle brown is supple, yet durable. Integrated comfort technology within the boot gives you an antibacterial, moisture-wicking and machine washable molded footbed, three-quarter length composite insole and a shock-absorbing outsole.
An XRD internal metatarsal guard is flexible for daily wear, yet hardens upon impact to protect the metatarsal bones on the top of feet. This feature, as well as a composite safety toe, are certified to ASTM 2413 safety standards. This shoe also meets or exceeds ASTM standards for resisting electrical hazards. An an oil- and slip-resisting rubber outsole is durable.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards. -
