Tingley Rubber Steel Toe PR Met Guard Work Boots meet four ASTM standards to keep your feet safe while you do your work.
As the name implies, the boots have a steel toe that meets ASTM standards for protective toe. These Tingley boots meet ASTM standards for electrical hazard, metatarsal guard and puncture resistance. The work boots also are waterproof. Put on these boots and you're ready to encounter whatever the day brings you.
Beyond those safety features, these work boots have Sure Grip cleated outsoles that resist abrasions and slips. The upper also resists abrasions and is ozone-resistant rubber to reduce premature cracking.
Inside, the Snugleg design hugs the foot for all-day comfort while a removable contoured cushion insole absorbs moisture and impact as you step.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
