The Terra Venom Composite Toe CSA-Approved Puncture-Resistant Athletic Work Shoe is all about safety.
This safety toe shoe meets both the CSA and ASTM standards for protective toe, puncture resistance and static-dissipation. You get all those protective features in one work shoe!
Another great feature of this footwear is that it's non-metallic. This is an important detail to consider if your job requires that you go through metal detectors frequently. You want to wear a men's shoe that allows you to go through detectors without delay, so you can get on with the work ahead.
You'll also find that this is a comfortable work shoe. It has CLEANFEET® treated moisture wicking lining. It also has a removable shock absorbing PU FOOTBED®
This black and gray sneaker has a premium water-resistant suede and full-grain leather upper. It has a direct injected polyurethane midsole and outsole with a supportive sidewall chassis.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
CSA Approved - Sole Puncture Protection with Grade 1 Protective Toe
Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes.
CSA Approved - SD
The outer soles are made from an antistatic compound, chemically bound into the bottom components, capable of dissipating an electrostatic charge in a controlled manner.

Constructed using no metal material or parts. Perfect for working environments that require passing through metal detectors. -
