The Velocity 2.0 Mid athletic work shoe is built to perform with a 5 inch smooth leather upper with TPU overlays that accent and add structure and durability to this black work shoe. A pull tab affixed to a padded collar helps with foot placement and provides support to the ankle area. The toe area is reinforced with an external scuff guard that helps with abrasion. Metal-free construction allows for easy pass through metal detectors.
Inside Puma's Evercushion® BA+ removable footbed feels comfortable against your feet with a fabric lining that helps control moisture and keep your foot from slipping inside the boot. This footbed is made of dual density polyurethane that provides cushion support and will retain its shape. Additional cushion is found in the Impulse Foam midsole, which stabilizes and reduces impact with each footstep, allowing you to remain on your feet and moving the full day.
For safety the Velocity 2.0 Mid has an interior composite protective toe made of a fiberglass compound that is strong, yet light weight and also meets ASTM requirements for impact and compression. These boots also are static dissipative, making them ideal for a clean room environment. The rubber outsole provides protection against heat - resisting up to 572 ° F - and also is slip-resistant, keeping you on your feet on a variety of surfaces.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.
