Made to move, the Velocity 2.0 safety athletic by Puma Safety gives you a comfortable, lightweight shoe with a torsion control system for stability and a durable, slip-resisting outsole.
This Velocity 2.0 in black has a smooth leather upper with with strategically-placed TPU reinforcements that both accent and contain, giving you a great look and fit. Mutilation-free, these shoes have no metallic components to scratch surfaces or set off metal detectors. Underfoot a torsion control power plate is incorporated into the IMPLUSE.FOAM midsole, giving you stability, support and plenty of cushion. Inside the shoe, a removable Evercushion BA insole with anatomical design supports arches and conforms to your foot.
You get all these comfort and support features with the safety protection you need on the job. This protective toe shoe has a non-metallic fiberglass toe and is static-dissipative, making them ideal for wear around equipment sensitive to static discharge. This Puma sneaker meets the ASTM standards for both of these features. The rubber outsole, tested to the Mark II standard, provides good grip on wet and oily surfaces. As an added benefit, the outsole is heat-resisting up to 572 degrees F.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.
Non-metallic
Constructed using no metal material or parts. Perfect for working environments that require passing through metal detectors.
