The New Balance 627v2 Men's Safety sneaker has a sporty twist on a traditional work shoe with a flat gray synthetic upper with a pop of orange. A sleek, new width flanged steel toe cap is ASTM-approved for impact and compression. The Toe Protectâ„¢ rubber compound provides abrasion protection for the toe area, while the lace up design with sewn-in gusseted tongue keeps debris out. A padded collar for support and protection of the ankle and Achilles area with attached pull up heel tab keep feet securely in place. A non-marking rubber outsole earns high marks for slip-resistance, that meets or exceeds ASTM F2913-11 requirements for oily and wet - keeping you covered indoors and outdoors.
Inside the New Balance 627v2, ABZORB® cushioning in the midsole provides exceptional shock absorption helping reduce foot fatigue. An ESD insert provides certified electrical hazard and static resistance, meeting ASTM F2412-11 requirements. An internal shank provides stability; a removable insole and soft lining provide comfort.
