Nautilus Composite Toe Static-Dissipative Work Hiker
Drawing from its athletic heritage, Nautilus Safety Footwear has incorporated the comfort and support of ergonomically designed athletic footwear construction with the tough safety features required by government standards.
There have been many upgrades in technology over time allowing for better Nautilus products including its composite toe locut hiker work shoe stock #N1303.
One of the key features of Nautilus stock #N1303 is its lightweight rubber outsole and molded EVA midsole bottom. The combination of these items along with the other features of N1303 allows this style to meet the highest ASTM F2413-05 Protective Toe footwear standards for Impact & Compression resistance while being a lightweight safety shoe that also utilizes a non-metallic composite toe cap.
In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413-05 Impact & Compression standards, Nautilus stock # N1303 also complies with its Static Dissipative standards. Static Dissipative safety shoes are geared to those areas dealing with electronic component assembly, but can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe footwear.
An additional feature of the Nautilus stock # N1303 is that it has no metal exposed on the outside of its shoe providing a mar resistant aspect that is often sought by the automotive industry to help protect car interiors.
The Nautilus N1303 is actually a totally non-metallic safety shoe ideal for any work environments that require passing through metal detectors.

Protective Toe

Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.

Constructed using no metal material or parts. Perfect for working environments that require passing through metal detectors. -
