Kodiak Greb Men's CSA Steel Toe Puncture-Resisting Waterproof Work Boot
The Greb work hiker, by Kodiak, features recycled materials and possess safety features that meet U.S. and Canadian safety standards for work footwear. This hiker style has a waterproof black leather upper lined with a waterproof membrane. Strategically placed panels of 100-percent recycled polyester mesh on the vamp, tongue and collar reduce weight. The shoe laces also are made of a 100-percent recycled polyester. Affixed to the upper with cement construction is an EVA midsole with abrasion- and slip-resisting rubber outsole. A Comfortzone LITE footbed built with OrthotLite Hybrid compound supplies comfort. Housed within the round toe is a steel toe cap that meets ASTM 2413 and CSA Grade 1 requirements. This boot also is electrical hazard resisting and is puncture resisting with a steel plate underfoot. Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes. -
