With the HOSS Tikaboo-UL, you get an extremely lightweight safety toe boot with wedge-shaped outsole having an excellent tread pattern for light industrial slip resistance. This Tikaboo UL supplies additional protection with an XRD internal metatarsal guard that hardens upon impact to protec the metatarsal bones of the feet. A combination upper of full-grain soft tumbled leather with ballistic nylon and PU in brown is cemented onto an EVA midsole with a slip-resisting rubber outsole.
Feet will remain dry with a waterproof membrane and comfortable with a super cushion insole that springs back with each step. Metal-free, the Tickaboo-UL has a composite safety toe cap that and met guard that meets ASTM requirements for impact and compression, and extra depth for wiggle room. This HOSS boot also meets requirements for static-dissipation with a SD35 rating.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
