This 6-inch lace up work boot has a full grain tumbled black leather upper with hardware that is non-metallic. This metal-free boot also possesses a composite safety toe, an XRD internal metatarsal guard that hardens upon impact and a Lenzi puncture-resisting plate. These features meet ASTM standards and this boot also resists electrical hazards with a direct attach polyurethane outsole having a defined heel. This outsole achieves high marks with oil-wet testing, helping you to stay afoot.
The Prowl is comfortable. A Hydry waterproof membrane keeps feet dry. Extra depth is built in around the toe area, giving this boot a roomier feel. For additional comfort, the Prowl has a removable, contoured insole composed of a dual density rebound foam that maintains shape with daily wear. A soft suede tongue and padded collar contribute to the fit and comfort of this industrial work boot.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
