The upper is made of a cruelty-free, manmade material that is wipeable. Metal-free with cement construction provides piece of mind that these shoes won't mar surfaces and are security friendly. A carbon nano composite protective toe meets ASTM F2413 requirements for impact and compression; this shoe also is static-dissipative with puncture-resisting material underfoot that also meets ASTM standards. An oil- and slip-resisting Genuine Grip rubber outsole with geometric repeat tread pattern grips smooth floors. Inside the shoe an Aegis Microbe Shield controls odor, staining and deterioration. Protective Toe

Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
