Work One External Metatarsal Guard Work Boots
Work One: 8" Steel Toe External Metatarsal Work Boot. E308. Only Made in USA. Work One is very proud to make this statement. Not many brands can. Weinbrenner Shoe Co. has been manufacturing footwear in the USA since 1892. Its dedicated factory workers have been union affiliated since 1943 and continue to meet the safety footwear needs of its valued customers. Work One 8" external metatarsal work boot stock #E308 is made with comfort from top to bottom starting with its supple leather upper and continuing to its dual density polyurethane outsole. An additional key comfort feature of Work One stock #E308 is its total cushion arch support system with memory foam, flex notches, and fatigue mat insole that provides direct underfoot cushioning. In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413-05 Impact & Compression standards, the Work One stock #E308 also has an ASTM F2413-05 compliant protective external metatarsal guard helping provide extra protection to the instep area along with the toes. As a further addition, the Work One stock #E308 work boot also complies with the ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but can also be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
