The Mellow Walk Owen line of men's footwear has CSA and ASTM-Approved safety features with comfort, giving you a sneaker you will enjoy wearing to work.
The Owen lace-up sneakers have a steel toe that meets ASTM standards for impact and compression. The shoes also qualify as static dissipative. If your shoes need to meet CSA standards, Mellow Walk has you covered there as well for static buildup or discharge and Grade 1. And the Mellow Walk Owen work shoes are Berry-complaint.
The smooth full-grain leather upper is durable and wipeable. The lace-up design helps you to secure proper fit; a padded collar protects the ankle area and provides support. Inside a Dri-Lex moisture-wicking lining helps keep your feet dry for all-day comfort and a removable footbed provides cushion.
The rubber outsole resists oils, slips, abrasions and chemicals. With top marks for indoor traction, the shoes allow you to move with confidence on smooth surfaces, walking where the job leads you and remaining confident in each step.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.
CSA Approved - Grade 1 Protective Toe only
Grade 1 protective toe withstands impacts up toe 125 Joules. Comparable to a 22.7 kg (50lb) weight dropped from 0.6 m.

The outer soles are made from an antistatic compound, chemically bound into the bottom components, capable of dissipating an electrostatic charge in a controlled manner. -
