Mellow Walk's Jack is a comfortable and wide fitting shoe. It has a black leather upper. It is built on a comfort-ortho last. It has a removable Dreamfit Ultra-Comfort memory foam footbed that is antibacterial. If this footbed does not deliver what you need, this shoe can readily accommodate a custom orthotic. It has a Drilex lining. Underfoot is a non-marking dual density polyurethane outsole.
The Jack meets the ASTM F2413 standards for impact, compression, and electrical hazard. It is also a CSA Grade 1 shoe that meets the Canadian standards for protective toe, electrical hazard, and puncture-resistance. The outsole has been slip-tested using the CSA Z195-09 / ISO 13287 standards and is proven on wet and dry surfaces.

Protective Toe

Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
CSA Approved Soles that provide electric shock resistance
Soles that provide electric shock resistance. Such certified footwear contains a sole and heel design assembly that, at the point of manufacturing, has electrical insulating properties.
CSA Approved - Sole Puncture Protection with Grade 1 Protective Toe
Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes. -
