McRae Industrial Composite Toe Metatarsal Guard Hikers combine hiking boots with plenty of safety features.
The hikers have a composite toe that doesn't add weight to your boots like a steel toe, but still meets ASTM standards for impact and compression. The boots also comply with standards for metatarsal guard and electrical hazard resistance.
This McRae boot also is totally non-metallic. This is a great benefit if you walk through metal detectors often during your workday.
The boots have an oil-resistant rubber outsole and phylon midsole. A fiberglass shank gives you foot support and stability.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
