Lehigh Safety Shoes Steel Toe 200G Insulated Work Boot
Lehigh Safety Shoe Co. has been providing protective toe safety shoes since the early 1920's initially under the name of Lehigh Rubber and Leather Company.
There have been many upgrades in technology over time allowing for better safety shoes. One of the key comfort features Lehigh has been utilizing in a number of styles including our strong selling Lehigh steel toe stock # 5030 work boot over the last ten years has been lightweight polyurethane outsoles.
Polyurethane outsole material not only helps make lighter weight steel toe work boots, but also gives to help take some of the stress and strain away from the wearer's feet and body.
Another key feature to the Lehigh stock # 5030 work boot comfort package is its TS-100 steel toe cap. The Lehigh TS-100 steel toe cap is made with a higher and wider design than traditional steel toe caps. This higher and wider design helps create steel toe footwear that exceeds the highest ASTM F2413-05 Protective Toe footwear standards for Impact & Compression by significant amounts. Work boots with this steel toe cap also have been utilized by many people who have wanted &/or physically need more toe room than conventional steel toe caps provide.
As a further addition, Lehigh Safety Shoe stock # 5030 work boot also complies with ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but also can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
TS-100™ Toe Guard
Built with a higher and wider design to provide more toe room than traditional steel toe caps, the TS-100 exceeds the maximum standards for impact and compression protecting the toe area from static pressure of up to 5000 lbs. (twice the ASTM F2413 standard).

Traditional insulation - typically felt or polyfill material offers a thermal barrier without the added benefits of premium insulations. -
