With the HOSS Rim, you get safety features for work with a high top fashion-forward style that looks great after-hours. The height of this shoe gives ankles a little support and protection - and a lot of style. An upper made of smooth action leather is both breathable and wipeable. Accent stripes add interest. Cemented to the upper is a shock-absorbing midsole that houses a fiberglass shank, giving this athletic stability and you all-day support when on your feet. For additional comfort a dual-density insole cushions and rebounds with each step.
Toes are protected with a composite cap that meets ASTM requirements for impact and compression, giving you an alternative to steel that won't weigh you down. And with metal-free construction, you get a security-friendly shoe that won't scratch up against surfaces. The HOSS Rim also meets ASTM requirements for electrical hazard resistance.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
