With the men's HOSS Chaser SD, you get an agile work hiker with safety features. This hiker has a grooved leather microfiber upper in black and grey that is both durable and eye-catching. Pops of orange in the shoe laces and outsole add additional visual interest. At 5 inches in height, the sloped top line with padded collar allows for transitions in movement, while keeping ankles comfortable. A TPU support system gives you stability, while the rebound EVA midsole provides spring. Attached to the midsole is a durable, slip-resisting rubber outsole.
This hiker meets ASTM requirements for static dissipation, making it a good choice for an indoor environment around sensitive equipment. Inside the Chaser, an ASTM-certified composite safety meets requirements for impact and compression, giving you an alternative to steel that won't weigh you down. Extra depth is built in, giving toes a little more wiggle room. For additional comfort, this boot has a removable, contoured insole composed of a rebound foam that maintains shape with daily wear. Metal-free, this hiker allows easy pass through metal detectors.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.
Non-metallic
Constructed using no metal material or parts. Perfect for working environments that require passing through metal detectors. -
