An internal metatarsal guard protects the tops of feet from dropped objects. Inside a broad square toe is a composite safety cap that protects toes. Both safety features ASTM standards for for impact and compression. And this boot also is electrical hazard resisting.
This 12-inch work boot has a full grain waterproof leather vamp in brown. The shaft pops with bright stitching zigzagging atop a grey backdrop. Brown pull straps mirror the leather on the vamp. Affixed to the upper is a dual density midsole that flexes with each step and provides energy return. Underfoot a low, defined heel is ready for walking and climbing up ladders. The rubber outsole has an omni-directional tread that is both versatile and practical with a swirl pattern designed to release debris.
Comfort features are built into this work boot. A waterproof membrane bootie provides additional protection from the elements. And a breathable, comfortable open cell orthotic treated with Ortholite helps to mitigate odor and maintain a healthy environment for feet.

Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
