The Carhartt Rugged Flex Composite Toe CSA-Approved Puncture-Resistant Waterproof Work Boot keeps your feet safe and meets safety standards for USA and Canada.
These six-inch boots are compliant with ASTM standards for electrical hazard, puncture resistance, and with the composite toe, impact and compression, as well. These shoes meet the CSA Grade 1 requirement.
Beyond these safety features are other attributes that battle the elements for you so that you can more comfortably go about your work. These safety toe shoes are waterproof to keep your feet dry if you encounter water, mud or slush. If you work outside for extended periods, it's important that shoes aren't just safe against nails and dropped objects; they also need to keep your feet comfortable in cold temperatures.
This footwear is made with a black oil-tanned leather upper. Rubber toe and heel bumpers make these boot abrasion-resistant. Under foot, the Carhartt rubber outsole resists oil, chemicals, abrasion, heat, and slips.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
CSA Approved Soles that provide electric shock resistance
Soles that provide electric shock resistance. Such certified footwear contains a sole and heel design assembly that, at the point of manufacturing, has electrical insulating properties.
CSA Approved - Sole Puncture Protection with Grade 1 Protective Toe
Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes. -
