Wear the Carhartt Composite Toe Internal Met Guard Waterproof Work Hiker. Your work boot can reflect your athletic style and have the safety features you require.
This 8-inch work hiker is ready for the job at hand. The safety toe protects you from up to 75 pounds of impact or compression. This brown boot also is electrical hazard resistant, giving you a secondary method of protection from electric shock. For more protection, it has an internal metatarsal guard that protects the top of your foot.
This also is a waterproof hiker. This is great if you spend most of your work day outdoors or have a job where you are moving between buildings.
On the bottom, the rubber outsole is both oil-resistant and slip-resistant to help you stay on your feet. Inside the hiker, you'll feel the comfort. A composite shank gives you arch support. There's also a removable cushion insole to cradle your feet.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
