Durable, safe and warm, this Hammer style by Avenger gives you a work boot loaded with safety and comfort features preparing you for a full day of work.
This men's 8-inch work boot has a brown full-grain leather upper that is both durable and breathable. Exterior heel and toe guards provide another level of resistance to areas that see the most wear. Flex welt construction cements the upper a highly heat-, oil- and slip-resistant nitrile rubber outsole. The 90-degree defined heel gives you secure footing and assists with a safe climb up ladders.
Be prepared for the wet and cold with a waterproof membrane and 1000G of 3M Thinsulate insulation. Feet also will be comfortable resting upon a pillow cushion insole. Additional comfort is found around the ankle and forefoot areas with a padded collar and tongue.
Protective features keep you safe and compliant in a variety of work environments. This Hammer meets ASTM requirements for impact and compression with a carbon nanofiber safety toe that is lightweight and gives toes plenty of wiggle room. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
