This shoe does not look like your father's work shoe, but it is still packed with technology. The alloy safety toes meet the current ASTM F2413 standard for impact and compression. This shoe also meets the ASTM standard for electrical hazard protection, giving you a secondary protection against accidental exposure to live currents. The dual-density PU outsole is oil-, abrasion-, and slip-resistant and offer better traction on a variety of surfaces. It is also heat-resistant up to 248 °F.
The Disruptor has a premium nubuck leather upper with brass hardware that looks great. It has been treated with Defender Repellent Systems featuring Scotchgardâ„¢ Protector which ensure it will continue to look that way. Inside the shoe are canvas linings that have received an antimicrobial treatment to help with odor control. The removable footbed features Timberland PRO's exclusive Anti-Fatigue Technology which absorbs shock and returns energy at key zones of the foot for comfort. Finally, the built in Bio-Suspension system improves stability, cushioning and flexibility.
