It's a safety toe boot and it's electrical hazard resistant. The boot meets the ASTM standards for both features, which includes resisting impact and compression of up to 75 pounds.
With this Timberland boot, you're also getting a waterproof work boot. It has a waterproof membrane and the leather is waterproof. Rain, mud and standing water won't stop you from getting the job done when this is the boot you put on to start your day. Also, the outsole is oil-resistant and slip-resistant.
This is a comfortable work boot. It's designed with anti-fatigue technology for all-day comfort. There's a fiberglass shank for arch support and a removable footbed. Inside the top is a padded collar so the boot is comfortable against your ankle.
As a bonus, the men's boot has dual-purpose top hardware for instant lacing customization.
