An industry-specific asphalt boot, the HeatArmor, has innovative technologies and thoughtful construction. This 10-inch pull-on boot has an innovative layering system built to handle the demands of laying asphalt. Starting from the ground-up, a proprietary MACSOLE rubber outsole is made from 12-percent recycled material and is heat-resisting to 572-degrees F. Flat and non-marking, this outsole also contains flex grooves to help with footing on slopes and in slippery conditions. Cemented to the outsole is a layer containing high side walls and an integrated heel support that protects the PU midsole and insulating layers housed within the shoe. A steel puncture-resisting plate helps protect the bottom of feet from sharps. Inside the boot is cooling, breathable insulation and a breathable textile liner that helps regulate temperature, improving comfort. A padded tongue and collar, in a contrasting lime color increases comfort. Made with a water-resisting black full-grain leather upper, minimal stitching for flexibility, and reflective side strips. Certified to ASTM F2413 standards, this asphalt work boot is electrical-hazard resisting on dry surfaces and contains a composite toe that passes testing for impact and compression.
