Thorogood I-MET2 Side-Zip Steel Toe Met-Guard Work Wellington
The Thorogood I-MET2 Side-Zip Steel Toe Met-Guard Work Wellington is a safety toe pull-on boot with many great features.
This men's steel toe work boot also is electrical hazard resistant and it has a metatarsal guard. It meets the ASTM standards for all of these safety details. It also meets the CSA standard for electric shock resistance. This boot has a heat-resistant outsole.
This is a tall leather work boot, standing at 10 inches. It's well made with Goodyear® welt construction and Kevlar® stitching.
The Vibram® lug rubber outsole gives the men's boot traction, durability and stable footing as you move through your workday. This is paired with a 90-degree defined heel — great for climbing ladders.
Comfort features include a rubber midsole and a removable dual-density insole. A fiberglass shank supports your arch, while a mesh lining wicks moisture from your foot.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
CSA Approved Soles that provide electric shock resistance
