Georgia Ironton External Metatarsal Guard Puncture Resistant Boot
Georgia Ironton External Metatarsal Guard Puncture Resistant Boot is the ultimate in a safety boot, meeting four ASTM standards! Beyond that, it's also ultra-comfortable.
Safety first: it comes with a steel toe and a Lenzi puncture plate. It meets ASTM standards for protective toe, puncture resistance, electrical hazard and protective metatarsal, keeping you safe on the job.
Infused with the Georgia Boot's AMP™ (advanced memory polyurethane) insole, a unique dual layer of polyurethane on the bottom layer for maximum cushioning and a memory foam top layer to ensure the boot's insole is custom molded to your foot.
A rugged lug outsole that resists oils, chemicals, heat and abrasions, this sole also is cushioning and flexible. This boot also has a polyurethane external met guard.
Made with a full-grain leather upper and lace-locking top hooks, the Ironton is available with a wideload toe box.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards. -
