Helly Hansen FJELL BOA Composite Toe Puncture-Resistant Work Hiker
If you want a unique shoe for work, then you want the Helly Hansen FJELL BOA Composite Toe Puncture-Resistant Work Hiker. This feature-rich shoe has features that you didn't know you wanted.
This cool low hiker is not your basic safety shoe. It has a composite toe that meets or exceeds the current ASTM F2413 protective toe standards for impact and compression. A composite plate in the midsole meets or exceeds that ASTM F2413 standard for puncture-resistance to protect you underfoot. This shoe also meets the ASTM standards for electrical hazard that gives you protection against up to 18,000 volts under dry conditions. The Vibram rubber outsole has a Mark II coefficient of friction of 0.45 in oily/wet conditions to give you sound footing.
The FJELL looks great. The upper is a black Cordura fabric with TPU welding. The contrasting blue accents prevent this shoe from blending in while still maintaining a classic look. A HellyWear hi-abrasion toe adds life to this shoe. The BOA closure system allows you to get your shoe on and off quickly and leaves you with no lose shoe string that can trip you up.
This lightweight shoe has an EVA midsole that cushions your feet. For comfort, there is a removable full-length PU footbed. An integrated TPU arch support helps to prevent foot fatigue. The footbed has an antimicrobial lining to help prevent odor and keep a healthy environment for your foot.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear. -
