This safety jacket is designed to resist heat. It's ASTM 2733-complaint for flash fire performance, has a protection arc rating of ATPV 80.7 calories/cm2 and is ASTM F1891 and NFPA 70E - HRC 2-compliant for arc thermal performance. This jacket is also resistant to many chemicals, acids, oils, alcohols, salts, and alkalis.
The coat also works to keep you visible. It's an ANSI/ISEA 107 Class 3-compliant jacket for high visibility. The high-vis yellow safety jacket features two-inch reflective tape on the sleeves and torso.
Protecting you also involves attention to detail. That means including items like heat-sealed seams and giving the coat's zipper a storm fly front that snaps close with hidden hardware. All the hardware on this garment is non-conductive and non-corrosive.
This actually is a hooded safety jacket. The hood conveniently rolls away into the collar.
Other features you'll appreciate are a harness slot and the design of the jacket edges "” the cuffs and hem are adjustable. The cuffs have hook and loop closures, and the hem has an elastic drawcord.
